Scottish Adventures
The Start
Besides the Eurotunnel there is the ferry-line Rotterdam-Hull and Ijmuiden (Amsterdam) - Newcastle.
We of course prefer the ferry. It is wonderful to relax while while the ship brings us closer. On board there is shopping, restaurants and a full breakfast before we reach the British border.

Accommodation
Tent, Bed & Breakfast or... Cottage!
We tried it all. However, if kids are involved then a cottage is recommended. On the other hand we love the British breakfast, so we must have B&B each time.

Destination
And there is a lot. Starting from the antique Edinburgh up to the overcrowded Eilean Donan Castle. Inbetween there is something for anybody, lonely roads, woods or just remote places. And there are wonderful beaches, too. We will report about everything.
